Message in a Bottle

Calling all radiomen,

This is Chief Scientist Rebecca Rogen-Burns, reporting from the Lunile Corporation’s Lunar Base 1. It’s March 23rd, 2056, 23 days since w - (garbled) - not going to be able to send regular signals again until we’re - (garbled) -ary supplies, we are unsure what remains of Kennedy Center’s Lunar Launch Center, and we have not att- (garbled) -Base. For those capable of receiving this message, please record the following and transmit it to whatever government agency or Lunile representative you are able to reach:

Since the first attack, citizens of the Lunile Corporation have sustained minimal injuries and 3 casualties. The Kennedy Lunar Center suffered 18 casualties and -- (garbled) -- 13 refugees from the Kennedy Lunar Center, and they report that there are 7 more survivors. No indication is given to the status of personnel in (garbled).

We have the resources to support our current population for 270 -- (garbled) -- and no means of space flight. If we can repair our equipment, expect signals on the first of every month.
